25 Anos do Duo Adour — Sala Villa-Lobos, UniRio, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Celebrating their 23rd Anniversary, Duo Adour (Andréa Adour, soprano, & Fabio Adour, guitar) also commemorates 25 years of musical activities. Specialised in contemporary music, the duo emphasises a repertory originally written for Soprano and Guitar, being in charge of both Brazilian and World Premieres of the work of several composers.

Both artists held a Doctor’s degree in Education by the Federal University of Minas Gerais and a Master’s in Music by the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro. Andréa Adour is Professor of Music in Vocal Studies, Head of Extension programmes of the School of Music, Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, and Head of the Research project “Africanias in Brazilian Vocal Music“. Fabio Adour is Professor of Music in Ear Training, Functional Harmony, Aural Transcription, and Head of Music Education in the same university.

EVA London 2019 Electronic Visualisation and the Arts

Held annually in July, EVA London is one of the international Electronic Visualisation & the Arts conferences. It focuses on the development and application of  visualisation technologies to various domains, including art, music, dance, theatre and the sciences, covering the burgeoning creative uses of digital media for works of art and creative productions. It is a networking event for groups and projects, including European projects.
